CorINFO Shell Sample Screens

InfoPoint Kiosks. Sample screen from a Tourist-Information Kiosk application installed by InfoPoint Ltd. A total of 8 touch-screen kiosks are installed outdoors and in strategic locations around the town of Pafos, Cyprus, providing free information and paid advertising in English, German and Greek. For example, any visitor can get free information about the Pafos Municipality and the services they provide, as well as, free information on the main events taking place in the area, the local museums, galleries, fairs, beaches, public transportation, hospitals, clinics and the local pharmacies, etc.

In addition, the InfoPoint kiosks provide an extensive set of maps with the main points of interest in Pafos and the whole island of Cyprus, as well as, detailed information and location maps for hotels, restaurants, shops, clubs, pubs, souvenir shops, etc. Some of the kiosks are also equipped with thermal printers that allow printing of paid advertisements, address and directions for any point of interest, as well as, coupons and free-entrace tickets to night-clubs and various special events. The CorINFO application was developed by CorSys Ltd. and installed on NCR EasyPoint 7401 terminals with NCR 580 thermal printers.

FastInfo Kiosks. Sample screen from a Visitors-Information Kiosk application installed by CPG Ltd. A total of 7 touch-screen kiosks are installed, mainly, in hotel lobbies in Pafos, Cyprus, providing free information and paid advertising in 14 different languages, such as, English, German, Greek, French, Italian, Hebrew and Arabic. Visitors can easily get information about accommodation and daily activities, as well as, free information on the main events taking place in the area, the local museums, galleries, fairs, beaches, public transportation, hospitals, clinics and the local pharmacies, etc. Furthermore, these kiosks can accept user feedback through a virtual (graphical) keyboard. The CorINFO application was developed by CorSys Ltd. and installed on standard PCs with touch-screens and HP laser printers.

Phil-O-Net Kiosks. Sample screen from a Tourist-Information Kiosk application installed by Phil-O-Net, a subsidiary of Phil Andreou Public Company Ltd. About 25 touch-screen kiosks are installed both indoors (in the SoEasy convenience stores) and outdoors and in strategic locations around the Limassol and Agia Napa in Cyprus, providing free information and paid advertising 13 different languages (eg. English, German, Greek, French, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, etc.) Visitor can get free information about the different Municipalities and the services they provide, as well as, free information on the main events taking place in the different areas, the local museums and galleries, the available transportation services, etc.

In addition, the Phil-O-Net kiosks provide an extensive set of maps with the main points of interest in the whole island of Cyprus, as well as, detailed information and location maps for hotels, restaurants, shops, clubs, pubs, souvenir shops, etc. Some of the kiosks are also equipped with thermal printers that allow printing of advertisements, address and directions for any point of interest, as well as, coupons and free-entrace tickets to night-clubs and various special events. Furthermore, these kiosks can accept user feedback through a virtual (graphical) keyboard. The CorINFO application was jointly developed by CorSys Ltd. and Phil-O-Media and installed on NCR EasyPoint 7401 terminals with NCR 580 and NCR 590 thermal printers.

Web Surfing Kiosk. Sample screen from an Web surfing/ Internet access kiosk application providing pay-per-use access to the internet through dial-up lines, pay-per-print facilities, secure e-mail sending (SMTP) and receiving (POP3), free off-line information and paid advertising facilities (rolling banner on top of the kiosk screen, and idle-mode multimedia carousel). The kiosk application supports English, German and Greek with matching build-in virtual keyboards and automatic character mapping to an external keyboard with trackball for easy web surfing. Content filtering is also available in order to avoid accidental browsing of adult-content web sites by minors. The CorINFO application was developed by CorSys Ltd. and can be installed on any Windows 2000 or XP kiosk terminal or PCs with standard or specialized printer and a bank-note acceptor or coin acceptor.

A total of 5 touch-screen kiosks are installed, mainly, in hotel lobbies in Pafos, Cyprus, providing pay-per-use access to the internet, pay-per-print facilities, secure e-mail sending (SMTP) and receiving (POP3), free off-line information and paid advertising. It supports English, German and Greek with matching build-in virtual keyboards and automatic character mapping to an external keyboard with trackball for easy web surfing. The users can browse the internet and/or get free information about the main points of interest in the island of Cyprus, the main events taking place in the area, the local museums, galleries, fairs, beaches, public transportation, hospitals, clinics and the local pharmacies, etc.

In addition, the Internet Kiosks allow the users to easily send electronic messages to any valid e-mail address using the SMTP protocol, to check/ download their e-mail messages residing on any POP3 server or to print a copy of their e-mail messages to the local printer. The CorINFO application was developed by CorSys Ltd. and installed on standard PCs with HP laser printers and on NCR EasyPoint 7401 table-top terminals with Lexmark printers. All kiosks are equipped with the AstroSystems GBA Banknote Readers and can accept payment in various denominations of UK Sterling Pounds, Cyprus Pounds, US Dollars and Euros.
